Journal: If I Was Invisible… Wait…

Standard

You didn’t see me
But I sure saw you.

I wasn’t paying much attention
As I walked into the area
Not until I caught a glimpse of your face

You were turned to another girl
Talking and smiling
We used to do that

But that was before
Before you found him

Now I admire you from afar
Your hair has grown longer
A white bow artfully placed

I envy your husband
He can be with you in ways
That I no longer can.

All thanks to me.

I wish I didn’t still miss you.
